And it was full of historical inaccuracies!
Cause uneducating the world is an important thing!
The humans lived with dinosaurs and smoking is good for you!

Hey, Flintstones! I love this show when I was a kid because I just love dinosaurs. I felt bad when I grew up because I never really noticed before that they were all abusing those poor dinosaurs.

Smoke very occasionally buddy. Once every week by myself and any time I'm out in social situations that involve drinking. I love the Flintstones too! Animated sitcoms is where it's at. Makes the whole thing more realistic. If the Flintstones can be thought of as being realistic lol.

ReplyDeleteHmm, I grew up on Flintstones and never noticed the smoking... I smoked for two years and then quit cold turkey, it wasn't hard at all, my body just told me to stop so I did.
ReplyDeleteI smoked some cigars in college but never really enough to call it a habit. As for the Flintstones I always found it kind of boring as a kid. the plots were fairly predictable and I much preferred the violence of tom and jerry
ReplyDeleteIt was originally for adults only.. and smoking was early back then, the whole cancer thing hadn't developed and I'm not sure they even used half the terrible stuff they do now on those old cigs.
ReplyDeleteANYWAY no I don't smoke. I'm allergic to burning tobacco. I turn red and my sinus clogs and everything. Makes bars a terrible place to hang, but they're pretty terrible anyway so whatever.
I am popping over here from Hazel's at Pablos Angel... I am so curious as to find out how you know about my small town of Chemainus and the Murals... I nearly fell off my chair when I read your comment. Did you just google it? Or have you been there? And PS, lots of the old buildings still remain...

ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite cartoons ever. I don't care what science says, in my fantasies (and that cartoon) people and dinosaurs coexisted and cooperated with each other. End of story hahahah

ReplyDeleteAwesome show, definetly ingrained in my mind for forever, I'm pretty positive about that. I smoked three or four times, and.. I really don't want to do a daily post about smoking, there's enough of those, I just MIGHT if I continue seeing people not realise what they're doing. If they realise and it's okay with them - I'm not them, I don't care aslong as they don't stand in my face and smoke.
