It was a TV show from the 90's that was built around the coming millennium.
It was about an ex-FBI agent who could look at things and see them through the eyes of serial killers. (Whether it was cause he knew psychology like in the TV show Criminal Minds or cause of magical powers like in any show with magic is beyond me but who really cares?)
The focus of the show was the coming Millennium!
And what happened on the show once the Millennium happened?
No one knows, the show was canceled in the spring of 1999.
But the main character of the show did appear in an X-Files episode that takes place on Dec 31 1999. But he left before the new year was rung in so we still never see him in the new millennium.
They prolly had to cancel the show because they couldn't insert the Y2K bug into their storyline.
ReplyDelete... That is actually a pretty awesome story. I'll check out this show just for the badass myth about it.
ReplyDeleteWow. Um, millennium related stuff aside the premise of a former FBI agent seeing through the eyes of serial killers is an extremely interesting and enticing one. It's a real shame we never got to see this guy meet the millennium. I might have to look up this show because programmes like this are right up my street. I'll definitely have to read into the plot a bit more to find out what it's truly like.
ReplyDeleteI remember this show. It starred that one old guy from Alien/x-Files.
ReplyDeleteOh damn I forgot about that show. I watched an episode or two.
ReplyDeleteThere's some interesting facts here. I'd never even heard of it though.
ReplyDeleteSeems a bit strange that they cancelled it before the actual Millenium!
ReplyDeleteI don't remember this. D:
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to him at the millennium is a mystery that will never be solved...
ReplyDeleteDoesn't ring a bell, I must've missed it. Sounds like a regular bust of a show!
ReplyDeleteWhat a tragic happening. Just out of reach....
ReplyDeleteI liked this show alright. I also remember the X-Files crossover episode. Good stuff indeed.
ReplyDeleteI remember hearing about it. I believe that Fox had this show. Judging by your post, it looks like a shitty show. I feel kinda curious though, because i have no idea how in the world they could make more than 2 or 3 episodes.
ReplyDeletePerhaps in 2999 they will have a cool remake of it, that will last half season or something. Only 988 years to find out.
@Mo You might be right!
ReplyDelete@neatfit I hope you enjoy it!
@YeamieWaffles You should look into it, if anything watch the first episode and see if it's right for you!
@MRanthrope now that you said that, I realise hes the robot from Aliens! Sweet!

@A Lunatic Pope The X Files crossover episode is apparently the first episode where Scully and Mulder kiss!
@Hasidic Plumber If I ever get a time machine I'm going into the future to find out if they remake it!
@Natural One that might be a good thing!

ReplyDeleteSounds awfull, thanks god they cancelled it.
ReplyDeleteHow did I miss this post?!?! BEST SHOW EVER ON TELEVISION.
ReplyDeleteA lot of the Criminal Minds episodes seem like they were taken straight from Millennium. I love CM as well, but I've noticed similarities that are definitely not coincidences...
