I put words under my blog title cause I'm such a cool dude!
I'm not going to lie, that costume is terrifying... lol I love the enthusiasm though!
Glad you like my enthusiasm!
that's awesome buddy. a3
Dammit what happened to the fountain?!But, that's pretty ridiculously cool. Unfortunately, I don't have a child to share this adventure with me. Pretty damn good drawings though. Congrats on the release!
I guess you'll never know what happened to the fountain!... inless you end up having kids and buy a copy!
You in that clown suit is priceless Bersercules! I'm afraid to ask whether or not you bought it new or if you just happen to have a clown suit lying around "just in case" Congratulations on being a published illustrator!!
I bought it years ago on a whim and even used it in a humourous video I made years ago. I kept it over the years "just in case!"Thanks! I like being a published illustrator!
Congratulations Bersercules! Anne told me to c'mon over here and check you out and on my first visit here you are all decked out in a clown suit and a published author. What more can I ask for on my first trip over? Thanks, Anne =)
Glad I was able to make a good first impression!
Glad to hear it!
Want me to pin him to the wall? lol
So this was the super secret project you've been working on? That's pretty damn awesome, I had no idea you could in fact draw family friendly material.
It takes all my strength but yes I can draw family friendly material... sometimes.
oh my eyes!
Well done on getting published! As I don't have any children, I don't think I'll be buying a copy, but good luck in your endeavours.
You look so adorable. I want to buy you and cuddle with you when I watch a scary movie.
That is the greatest comment I have ever gotten! You made my day!
I hope it's smashing success.It's unfortunate that you haven't seen a copy.
I haven't seen a printed copy but I do know what the book looks like! I made the cover and inside cover and drew and formated all the pages!
Never bought anything from createspace, so I can't vouch for it's quality either. I'm tempted to get a real copy now, perhaps when I'm done I'll donate it to the local library so the kids can read Swashbuckle Chuckle.
Thats a good idea! I might have to get a few copies and send some to the local libraries around where I live!
You two did an AMAZING job on this book!! Apparently you guys are quite the team. :) I can't wait until I get my hands on copy so my baby boy can point at the pictures and scream for one shoe kangaroo!
Thanks! I hope he and kids everywhere enjoy the book!
This is actually amazing Herc, I find it hilarious how awesome you look in the outfit. You have no idea how cool I find it that you've illustrated this book with Pat, seriously hoping it takes off and becomes a roaring success, you deserve it buddy, I'm not a child and even I want a copy!
Thanks! I too hope it becomes a roaring success!
I had already bought the book kindle one. My kids love it. Pretty different and loved your cartoons, I know who ha e talent but this is just awesome. You are theclown villian there? Never knew that clown pirate was your selfportrait
Yay! Glad to hear you bought a copy! haha! No the pirate wasn't a self portrait! But maybe he should have been!
Love that costume! Congrats to you and Pat on being published! This must be quite the moment for you guys! I wish you much success! Can I trust your book in the hands of my children, though? That is the question! lolLmao @nellie's comment!
Oddly enough you can trust me and Pat with your children! Pats story is quite the kid friendly romp! and my art has no negative/inapropreate themes! Fun for the whole family! (unlike our blogs!)
anyone ever tell you that your like a mix between george constanza and conan o brien? i just noticed this today. lol
And totally a gentle touch of Notch lol!
No, but people have said I'm a cross between Louis CK and Zach Galifianakis!
i can see the louis ck resemblance.
OMG YAY that's so exciting! I just bought mine!! :DI like your outfit. Even more than that I like the background on your computer. ;)
Yay! I hope you enjoy reading it!I'm glad you like my outfit but am even more glad you noticed the wallpaper on my computer! I wondered when someone would see it!

Don't think I didn't see your desktop wallpaper.
That is possibly the best desktop background I have ever seen..... Also, you look simply stunning in that outfit!
Why thank you!
You should email me a copy of your desktop wallpaper so I can change mine :)
Sounds like a plan!
You know it's kinda funny seeing you introduce this in your blog. like, this is a pretty adult blog, children's book.. but you gotta advertise! Hope it works well, glad to see you're drawing in different places!
I figure adults have kids!
Hey Swashbuckler. I'd love to promote your book on my site if you're interested.
Sure, that sounds like a good idea!

nice wordsgreat comment
ah, the cat has started the campaign, we shall have no peace from his meowing :)
yep he's building his evil empire!
It looks like you and Pat Hatt have taken a page out of the playbook of the legendary Harvey Pekar (the subject of one of my favorite movies "American Splendor"). I hope you do not have to wait as long as Harvey did to get the accolades you guys deserve, however.
Who's this Pat Hatt guy, the cat feels so offended...hahaha...the orange and green suits you but that wall paper it's blinding..hahahaha
I made up the Pat Hatt character! And I hope the cat don't hurt me!
LOL Love that desktop background!
Glad you liked it!
Will be getting mine soon
Can I just say, picture 3; that is the thrusted jaw of a true comic book hero. Most excellent. Oh and congrats at exploiting your skills successfully!P.S- turns out 'thrusted' isn't a word, huh!
Thanks! and if people say thrusted enough I'm sure it will become a word!
That desktop background is totally awesome. Nice job on getting published too :> I'll have to give it a read someday.
