Another day another post another title pretty much the same
Hi everyone! Today I'll be posting another old video review. This one I forgot to post back in the beginning when I started posting these old reviews. Its one of my early ones, but its also one of the ones I enjoyed filming the most! Why? The end scene! It was my favourite time filming! I had just made five reviews at once and it was the last scene on the last (of four) days of filming! I had a blast and it was one of the funnest times of my life! I hope you enjoy!

The monster killer bit made me laugh so much I had to post a comment telling you, as did the mighty fucks bit, this film seems horrible from what I've seen so far!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed the jokes!
DeleteGood old family racism.
ReplyDeleteThose were the days when even a token minority wasn't necessary.
Funny story with that! I watched the movie on DVD and wrote the review, but couldn't put the movie from the DVD on to the computer for some reason and had to find a copy of the movie on the internet! The only copy I could find had a scene missing! my line about the rasism is suppost to happen during a scene where the black kid says something stupid and one of the white kids raises his hand to hit him and the black kid cringes like a coward.
DeleteHow do you sit through these movies? I want to kill you to put you out of your misery and then kill myself too.
ReplyDeleteOddly enough I love old black and white movies! and trying and noticing all the mistakes is like a fun game for me!
DeleteSo fresh faced, outdoor filming with your twin, awful movie, truly awful but I'm sending my $19.95 right away......was that real sweat?
ReplyDeleteYes, I often had to reshoot scenes back then and so probably said eachline 3 or 4 times while talking loud and fast! Its quite the work out!
DeleteGreat review, this film sounds like one of those that are so bad they're good.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I loved your jump break super powers! And I agree, if the scene is supposed to take place at night, it should be filmed....at night! Not in broad daylight!
ReplyDeleteGreat review! I can see why you had so much fun with this one! Fine acting skills I must say!
I agree! So many films film stuff during day and act like its night! Its crazy!! Glad you liked the review!
DeleteI love your reviews!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteHaha, never heard of this movie.
ReplyDeleteFunny Review as usual!
ReplyDeleteA few observations:
ReplyDelete1. It's sad, truly sad, that I even know the name of this "gang": the Bowery Boys. Leo Gorcey as Slip Mahoney and Huntz Hall as Sach. This was a popular (?) series of movies in the late 50s/early 60s. Such was American TV (at least we didn't have Snooki).
2. I wonder if this is available on Netflix.
3. Someone convinced someone that this would be a great idea for a movie. This also makes me sad. Considering "Shag Carpet Toilet" is ranked 600,000 out of 1,000,000 (on Kindle! Buy yours now while thousands are left!), I'm led to one inescapable conclusion: 'Shag Carpet Toilet' sucks.
4. One one-liner you didn't mention: "How come you can read in the dark?" "I went to night school".
5. "Pants" Would that be a noun or a verb? Because if that store was pantsing people, that's one tough neighborhood.
Great review!
I know they're the Bowery Boys and worse then that I know they made movies mostly in the 40's!
Delete600,000th out of 1,000,000 isn't bad! Thats quite good!!
A story that pantses people? thats a great idea!!
The 40s....of course!
DeleteMaybe I meant I watched them in the 50s and 60s.
Oh...my.
Maybe the actors really were scared of the dark so it had to be shot in the daylight?..lol..that skeleton thing was so pathetic it might actually be scary..haha..not in the right way though. LMAO you should do infomercials.
ReplyDeleteyeah its scary cause it shows us how mentally messed up they are!
DeleteMy dream in life is to do infomercials!
I really do love the end scene, and how you actually drew a diagram of what it would have to be to make that shape. I guess the reason it was such a small town was the huge graveyard.
ReplyDeleteI never thought of that! He must have been slowly killing off people in that town for years!!
DeleteIt may have been a bad movie...but it provided the inspiration for the character "Mini Me" in the Austin Powers movies, and the basic plot for every episode of Scooby Doo ever written.
ReplyDeleteYep it inspired a generation!
Deleteyou should consider running for Oscars with this one :)
ReplyDeleteYou're right!
DeleteYou know, if I made an ending like that I'd be super proud of it too. Surprised it wasn't posted earlier, honestly, nice work on it!
ReplyDeleteI think there should be a rule that all films have an angry mob in them
ReplyDeleteI think every movie should have a bunch of bikini girls.
DeleteLMAO Can you give me more details on this free pair of pants??? hahaha
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to call the made up toll free number!
DeleteLOL at the Pants.
ReplyDeleteThat movie looks awesome!! I'm renting it.
You need your own tv show on cable. :D
Yes I do! If you know anyone who runs a cable TV station, tell them about me!
DeleteNow I don't have to bother watching this movie- thanks.
ReplyDeleteGlad I could help!
DeleteThis may be the first time I've seen anything in black and white! :)
ReplyDeleteWow! That's crazy! Have you been avoiding black and white your whole life?
DeleteYou questioned Bela Lugosi in your review. Not a smart move. He may be dead, but his powers live on, with no one to control them...except me! Right after you wondered how he could just disappear, the video stopped working for me.
ReplyDeleteIf you can control him can you get him to come visit me? I'd like him to guest appear in one of my videos!
DeleteYour narration is flipping hilarious!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it!
Delete"Order now and receive a free pair of pants" Now that's a great one liner. You looked like you were coked up by the end of that thing Bersercules!!
ReplyDeleteI just saw the book you illustrated for Pat. Congratulations!!!
Thats what I was going for! I put baking soda on my nose and face, but through the shoot most of it disappeared of my face due to sweat!
DeleteGlad you liked the book! I'll be blogging about it tomorrow!
Can check video in the evening only. Hey I the tge cartoons on pat hatt's book. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked the book!
DeleteI like it when groups stand around and assemble in an orderly fashion to discuss plot points. That's usually my favorite part of movies...
ReplyDeleteYeah they can be quite action packed scenes!
DeletePANTS~!
ReplyDeleteOh god, that last bit part of yours. "If you don't have these in your library, you've got a better library than I do!"
Saved and faved for future posterity.
Glad you enjoyed it! Pants!
DeleteI can't watch this. I've got a presentation to prep for. Sorry. :(
ReplyDeleteOh man, I wish I had gotten to be a soph-a-more
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Keep it up!
