Superman's Black Magic

Hi! I'm Bersercules, the Berserk Herc! And today is a - you guessed it! - another Superman reivew! (This is only the beginning folks! Plenty more to come!) So what can I say about this review? Only one thing: Hail Satan!

I hope you enjoy it!

  2. LOL if superman ever pretended to be bibleman the world would have to end. Hailing Satan gets you sucked into a volcano and tons of dough, at least you have fun before you go.

  3. I won't lie Bersecules, I'm glad that you don't get killed despite the red shirt. Bibleman versus Superman dressed as Satan would be an incredible fight too. This story is so ridiculous, typical of DC comics haha, it's weird the way they censor Hell haha.

  4. One thing I'm starting to realize with these is that these comics had about the same amount of thought put into 'em than modern day basic cable does. That's.. sad..

  5. Lois always wanted to say WTF Superman, but she was too much of a lady to do it. She's thanking you from toonland right now.

And really these criminals are so dumb. Don't they know what happens at the cross roads when dealing with the devil. And they weren't asked to sign in blood. Should have been a give away to them that this wasn't the real Satan.

I'm thinking that Lois banged Satan after the party though. He's better looking in that costume and sexier than old Clark any day of the week.

Wish me a HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I'm half a century old today!

  7. I wonder what the subtle message is dressing Superman like Satan? That we should all beware the Ubermensch? "This is a big tummy," had me rolling. Also, did you tape that bible to your head? You sacrifice for your art. Hail SuperSatan.

  8. A red shirt? What is this sorcery? I'm surprised that they actually dressed Superman up as Satan. But I would definitely love to see Bibleman vs Superman. I think that the reason she can't tell Clark is Superman is because she has no idea he's that ripped. She told who that guy was based on his stomach, but Clark almost always wears a suit, you can't tell he's as ripped as he is. You know that's a good point. The trick Superman pulled is exactly the same thing every mob boss and loan shark uses. "A favour to be performed at a later date." Hell is counted as a curse word, so he's not allowed to say it, though he can use Satanic imagery of course. He wears his Superman costume under every outfit he ever wears. It's amazing he's never been caught wearing it. Spiderman does the same thing too, but I think someone noticed the costume before. You know, given that Satan is supposedly responsible for all the evil in the world, or at least he punishes bad people, I imagined he was like an evil Santa claus, and he knows every bad thing a person has ever done. I don't imagine him asking people just what bad things they've done.

  9. I think I saw an episode of "Trapper John M.D." like this. No, seriously. In the episode I'm talking about, Gonzo dresses up as the devil, to try to trick some poor slob into donating a kidney to save a dying boy. Or, maybe it wasn't a kidney... maybe it was a pancreas or something like that. And maybe it wasn't a dying boy..maybe it was an extremely nauseous parakeet. But I digress. Interesting crime fighting method used by Superman. I think they use the same tactics to coerce confessions out of terrorists in Guantanamo Bay. You think Superman would be above using such questionable techniques... but then again, I thought he was above dressing up like the devil, and pretending to be the most evil being in the universe.

  10. The criminals are more scared of satan then they would be of Superman.

I like how Superman calls the criminals accomplices their "pals".

I'd write more, but I'm feeling sick from to many doughnuts.

  14. So Bruce Wayne is a gazillionaire, yet he's too cheap to go to Costume City to buy a costume? Cheapskate.
