  2. Was the booger tasty? Well can you blame her for wanting cool zombies?..lol...the aliens don't look very alien either, so bad. At least they saved money by reusing the scene too.haha Plan 12 worked best.

  3. This review was hilarious man, who's the bald guy mid way through it though? This movie seems like such a serious mess to me too, the plot is just plain stupid. The random character is so weird, rescuing her then disappearing again, it seems a strange film. In my eyes you're better than the Nostalgia Critic by the way, honestly I'm not a huge fan of him. Apparently they originally called this "Grave Robbers From Outer Space," at least that made a bit more sense about the plot.

I just watched the end of it and it says guest starring Michael Wallace so I'm guessing it's your father right? Great review anyway buddy, it does make me disappointed in humanity though with that ending!

    1. Yeah he's my father. Glad to hear you enjoy my stuff more then the Nastalgia Critic! (though I am a fan of his!) The original was called that but a religious group sponsered teh movie and wanted the name to be changed! (and thats why there is mentions of the soul in the movie and also the aliens believe in god! But I didn't use that scene in the review.) Yeah humanity can suck sometimes, aliens come to warn us and we kill them!

    1. I'm glad you enjoyed the scene! Heck I'm glad you noticed it! It happens so quick!

  5. I guess the aliens aren't exactly smarter than us humans. Heck, they are just as stupid.

  6. A bad movie with Bela Lugosi in it? Hmmm. Is that possible? I do wonder what the 8 plans were. Who makes that many plans? Who doesn't believe after that many plans? FUCK. People will think that Jesus has come back or something. That does look like a strap on doesn't it? They really did reuse the scenes? It's not just you reusing them? It's odd to see a woman running these days, let alone back then. Even now people just wait until their inevitable death, rather than try and get away. Humanity FTW I guess? We beat the shit out of those peace loving aliens that just wanted to make sure we didn't destroy anything. We totally rule.

    1. Yep not only did they reuse that scene but they reused it more times then I showed it! I hope no alien race recives radio transmitions of this movie and thinks we're actually like that! They'd think we were violent beings that attack anything!- oh wait, we are...

  7. Yeah, I enjoyed it as usual!

  8. I remember back in the day, me and my one friend use to have a great time reciting that "YOUR MINDS!! YOUR STUPID, STUPID MINDS!!" line. I confess I never really paid that close attention to the movie though. I never realized that "Plan 9" referred to the aliens attempts to get the human race to acknowledge them. Sounds more like the plot for a romantic comedy starring Zooey Deschanel...Zooey hatches 9 plans to try to win the man of her dreams! But seriously folks, though Ed Wood's attempts to convey his ideas are poorly executed...one must admit that the over all message of the film regarding the violent and destructive nature of mankind is nothing to haha and her derp about (whatever that means).

    1. You're right! It would make a great romantic comidy! Plan 9 to Get a Man! It could start as she trys her ninth plan and they're could be comical flashbacks to when she tried the other eight plans! And then the guy she wants could be violent and destructive and show her the nature of mankind! (and then she could derp her way out of there!)

  9. Man that plane looks like its made out of cardboard! I think I've seen cockpits of go-karts that look more advanced than that!

  10. Frankly, even though the movie wasn't all that great.. the concept of aliens presenting themselves by creating the living dead kinda sounds like a Hollywood hit.

    1. Yeah a movies success often depends on presentation and exicution! Many bad movies have good ideas!

  11. Dont judge me. But this alien doesnt go by name O$sama and not from planet Pakistan? That guy too tried all those eight plans. :)
Those two pilots were they "working from home"? and using remote chair connection from home to ride the actual plane in air?
Love your "stink" comment :) Loved the fireworks.

    1. Yeah I think the plane was actually just there living room furniture and they were flying a living room! haha!
Those first 8 plans get tried a lot by dictators!

  13. LOL love older movies like this classic acting is the best

  14. Poor Bela Lugosi. The black mark on his baller-ass resume. Speaking of baller, your dad seems pretty baller, what with his cameo and what not

  15. What was Bela Lugosi doing in the San Fernando Valley? I recognized that house, and I know the Valley is where zombies come from.
Wait...a...minute...who is that man? Eating cereal aged you!
    Oh! Got it.

    1. I think that house is still around and it use to be owned by Tor Johnson. Cereal keeps me young! But the grown-up inside me likes it too!

  16. This movie is a cult classic. My adviser at university owned a video store and every year all his students would get together, order pizza and watch this movie. It was a great tradition.

You dressed as a hick was great. That woman running was confusing and rather frightening for a down home farm boy wasn't it.

The film "Ed Wood" was great. I was wondering if you'd seen it because I thought it was brilliant.

Hey I see your artwork on your sidebar!! Nice addition to your blog and it's great to see you drawing.

    1. I love movie watching traditions too! Its definitely a cult classic too! (and was voted the worst movie ever back in the late 70's!)

It was frightening for me too! I'd never saw a old black and white movie where a woman ran from danger! And I had recently finished a review of Braniac where a woman stands screaming for 40seconds as a monster slowly walks to her!

I did see Ed Wood! And it was great! I've also seen some of the movies that are shown during that movie! Plan 9, Bride of the Monster, I also saw Night of the Ghouls (and reviewed it) which is the movie they'd make next if there was an Ed Wood 2!

Glad you noticed the sidebar links! Glad you like them! I put them there so new people to my blog will be able to easily check out all the best posts!

    2. Also I watched the first half on The King and I (remember you recomended it?) and I like it! But I haven't gotten around to watching the last half yet! Some times it takes me a long time to watch a movie!

  17. This movie did stink like a 10 day old corpse but your review didn't mate, I would have rather watched your review than that fecking movie...and stop blowing up the solar system!

    1. You're right about the stench! And I'm glad you enjoyed my review! (don't worry the solar system can only blow up once!)

  18. Plan nine sounds like a pretty brilliant strategy to me.
....wait, so is she a vampire or a zombie or both?

    1. She's a Zombie controlled by Aliens that loooks like a Vampire.

  19. Oh, OH wow. I think it was touched upon earlier that this entire movie is what Ed Wood was about...and I'll admit, I watched it after watching Ed Wood.

Maybe that took some of the sting out of it, y'know? 'Cuz my god, what a horrible movie. BUT, butbutbut...the moment you get past that, it becomes fun in the same way Rocky Horror Picture Show does.

    Except RHPS doesn't suck.

  20. wow such a brilliantly bad film....and one of my favourites

  21. You really do crack me up! When you said "Now I'm in the scene" and the face you made was great!! LOL

Now I strangely want to watch this movie...

    1. Yes it is. But my personal pick is Skydivers.

  26. Hahaha man... i really love your stuff. And you've gotten a lot better at it as well

  27. I love it that you're reviewing the old movies. There's too much new stuff jammed in your face everywhere nowadays.

  28. hahaha awesome post! Looking forward for more!

  29. Why? Why do you do this to yourself? Watching these crappy movies that is. Oh wait, because your reviews makes us laugh, that's why!

I have never seen such generic sets! I'm broke as hell and could still put together something better than this! I'm no artist but still....

Love the sidebar pics/links! Nice touch! Really spices up the blog!
