and more!

I'm back and here with more easy to post stuff from my child hood!

This comic requires some back story... cause I like to be percise. Super Dude (the hero form the previous posts) lives with a bunch of other heroes. The first story had him solo cause it was an amalgamation of Super Dude stories I wrote when I was twelve (they're really badly drawn!) and for the first story I wanted to include the best jokes from the old stories, so I did.

When I was a kid I fantasised these comics (that I'm posting now) would become two issues of a comic book. I'd draw a cover and have an inside cover that tells all the character names and the two issues would deal with two running gags I'd made.

Obviously that never happened.

The inside cover was never made and therefor you don't know the names of the appearing characters till later on or never in some cases. Don't worry it doesn't matter.

The running gags were SD (Super Dude) would slowly destroy his house one bit at a time through the stories in the first issue (and you will see he does) ending with his house totally destroyed at his own hands and having to be completely rebuilt and the second issue would (if I ever drew it... it was written but never drawn) would have him letting more and more people live at his place till it would parody the Avengers comic were the butler kicks out most of the members of the group cause of over crowding but with the joke being that when the butler tries to kick out all the extra people SD kicks him out instead.

So now here's the second story... its a short one.

tune in for more of the same next week.

  1. Silly extra fact, the guy in the white muscle shirt and black hair was called UWM (short for Under Water Man) and was a parody of Sub-Mariner and Aquaman. And by parody I mean he parodied them by having an underwater like name and never going underwater or doing anything with water.

  2. I wouldn't want to live next to Super Dude's house. Imagine how the property values go down when that rowdy crew moves into your neighborhood... though I suppose the crime rate would be really low, because they are all crime fighting super heroes.

    1. But then again given how destructive SD is and how he lives with a villian and that villians might show up to destroy him at his house I'd say I wouldn't wanna live near his house!

  3. This is the billion dollar comic I've been waiting for! I'm sorry but I might have to steal your story and idea, change the characters into girls, color it, then profit billions. I can smell the money coming...

    1. Will you hire me to draw them and pay me a fraction of what you make!

    2. Probably not. I'm just gonna steal your idea and monopolize all the profits. And then when I'm rich enough, I'm gonna blow up Canada to destroy all the evidence!!

  4. haha great job with all the paradies of other heroes, can see many in there. Mr. Fix It sounds very threatening...hahaha...quite the imagination you had/have indeed.

    1. Thanks! Glad you like the name! I always tried to name the villians the silliest lamest names I could think! I hope I still have my imagination!

  5. You have the whole base here, why not turn "The Adventures of Super Dude" or something, into a webcomic? I'm sure there's plenty of bloggers that would help you out with the task if you needed. Myself included!

    1. Oddly enough just before I found blogging I was gonna try doing web comics, but with a more recent idea I had , but desided not cause I couldn't see much of an audeince at the web comic sites. I might have to look into doing a web comic now though! Thanks for the advice!

    2. You couldn't see an audience at webcomic sites? D= I'm a regular at several web comics and I've see a few grow, there's a GIANT base for that. There's some terrible web comics out there, but there's also a lot of good ones. I even use a webcomic based advertising medium on my blog, just to take that traffic in.

    3. I didn't realise they were that popular! I'll have to look into web comic sites! What ones do you know of/read? And I do remember seeing some of the ads for web comics on your page, but I had forgotten all about that!

  10. That poor furniture. You could always turn it into a proper comic or at least do the inside cover.

    1. I'm now, just now, considering the idea of inking these out and colouring them in and making an actual web comic out of them. So I might!

  11. I second the webcomic motion. You have an audience here.

  12. "And what did you two guys standing behind him do?"
    "We stood behind him...."

Classic. I laughed a lot at that one.

  13. you know, i'm blind as hell as it is and was really straining my eyes to read the text in these comics..but I really dig your art work sir. The penciled art is like over a decade old but has held up nicely. KUDOS!

  16. As several other have suggested why not put together a web comic? I'm sure you could find some collaborators.

  17. Bersercules, I'm with everyone else on this. You should do a webcomic here. I'd like to see these panels done in color, but I'd like to see the adult Bersercules develop a strip as well. Post it and they will come!!

    1. I guess I'm gonna have to do more with this now that everyone keeps saying so!

Sadly adult me hasn't created anything in years. I last had a new idea in my early twenties! (over eight years ago!) But I do have so many good ideas I've never drawn out before. I think I stopped creating years ago cause every thing I created never saw the light of day and that bothered me! But now with blogging I might have to change that! I'll have to show more of my old ideas off and see what people think.

    2. Putting these old ones (old for you, new for us) may spark a new match for you creatively. You know how to blog, you know how to handle yourself as a blogger and you have talent, so if the ideas do come out, get them on paper and develop them.

  18. Your style of drawing really lends itself well to classic comic style. I'd read it as a web comic and most likely beg for a recurring villain role.

    I laughed heartily.

  19. Comic videos, insightful writing, and now comics.
Golly, Mr. Bersercules, is there anything you CAN'T do?
    Seriously, I'm impressed.

  20. Bersec you are so talented dude...

  21. You did that at 12? That's more coherent than what I can do now! :)

    1. No I didn't do it when I was twelve. I was sixteen when I did it. When I was twelve I drew and earlier version of this which was really bad.

  27. This time I was able to read and see the comic clearly. Awesome and I cant appreciate this enough. I wonder why yours havent made into a movie yet. And Mr.fix-it, you could sue the "Huckle cat - another canadian series of cartoons , seemed to have stolen your name for their fox.

  28. man I wish I could actually draw....great comic :)

  29. As a kid, I always thought about making games. When I found out how, I was staggered at how much people and effort goes in. The next best thing was making random jedi lightsaber battles in comic form, with stick figures. I really don't have much talent at all. :(

  30. Nothing beats saving the world from ninja aliens and a donkey king. Also, that 'what did you guys do?' 'We stood behind him.' joke was hilarious.

  31. I'm somewhat jealous. You were able to draw real people. All I can manage even at this age is stick people.

  32. nice comic :D
i cant wait for new videos, they are awesome. really. you should add more tags or something, its shame that they have so few views

  33. You should clean them up some in photoshop so they're easier to read
