Another day another video and I am a Lobster.

Here's an Ol' Timey movie review video I did shortly before I started blogging last year.

Feel free to go on to youtube and comment favourite and thumbs up it!

And more importantly!

I'M A LOBSTER!!

Yep I just won a Lobster Blog award given to me by Lord Phrozen! He made up the award himself because he rejects the standard type of awards and prefers origanality! Which I think is awesome! I love creativity!

Not only is it the first award I've won but it is the best award I've ever seen! I'm proud to be a Lobster! And what does being a Lobster mean? It means I'm part of a special team of bloggers! Who are also Lobsters!!

Thank you Lord Phrozen! And for all of you who don't know him or wanna check out the cool write ups he did for the award, you can check out his blog at

...and more comics...

Hello everyone in blogger land, another day another post of my old comics! I'm gonna milk the hell out of them! But don't worry tomorrow will be something different.

Thanks for all the great feed back about my comics over the past week! My sixteen year old self feels vindicated! Yay! And I will definitely have to think about doing a web comic!

But for now enjoy my favourite story from my comic:

Friday, 24 February 2012

and more!

I'm back and here with more easy to post stuff from my child hood!

This comic requires some back story... cause I like to be percise. Super Dude (the hero form the previous posts) lives with a bunch of other heroes. The first story had him solo cause it was an amalgamation of Super Dude stories I wrote when I was twelve (they're really badly drawn!) and for the first story I wanted to include the best jokes from the old stories, so I did.

When I was a kid I fantasised these comics (that I'm posting now) would become two issues of a comic book. I'd draw a cover and have an inside cover that tells all the character names and the two issues would deal with two running gags I'd made.

Obviously that never happened.

The inside cover was never made and therefor you don't know the names of the appearing characters till later on or never in some cases. Don't worry it doesn't matter.

The running gags were SD (Super Dude) would slowly destroy his house one bit at a time through the stories in the first issue (and you will see he does) ending with his house totally destroyed at his own hands and having to be completely rebuilt and the second issue would (if I ever drew it... it was written but never drawn) would have him letting more and more people live at his place till it would parody the Avengers comic were the butler kicks out most of the members of the group cause of over crowding but with the joke being that when the butler tries to kick out all the extra people SD kicks him out instead.

So now here's the second story... its a short one.

tune in for more of the same next week.

and the story continues...

Here's the rest of the first story.

The last picture is smaller(but larger cause of weird blogger formating) cause its only the top of the next page, the next story fills the rest of the page and will be included in my next blog... yeah I know each story should start on its own page and end at the end of a page, but I'm not a stickler for the rules. Screw the rules.

The Summer of '98

Ahh the summer of '98! For most people their summers in high school are marked with fun adventures, fornicating, and living life to its fullest! For me though it wasn't. I was a friendless loser looking for a place to happen. My summer is remembered by comics... not ones I read but one I wrote/drew.

Each day of the summer between grade 10 and 11 I'd deliver the newspaper from 5:30am-6:30am, come home, eat breakfast, and watch TV till 8 or 9 am. Then I would set up my desk, taking it from my bedroom, and placing it in front of the TV in the living room and spend the next seven or eight hours drawing a comic.

Though unseen by anyone (besides me) for the last decade and a half, I'm placing it on the internet now so you guys can see it. And so my sixteen year old self can feel happy in the fact that his work got out there and had a chance to find a place to happen.

And since there is 24 pages in total I'm gonna milk this thing off and on for a whole bunch of blogs!

The comic revolves around a super hero and his friends, is meant to be funny, has continuous story line elements but is told in small 1-8 page stories. Oh and of course since I don't learn in a school environment my spelling in these stories is terrible.

Here is the first half of the first story of the comic. I hope you enjoy. (and my sixteen year old self really really hopes you enjoy... he's a dork.)

Night Court

For those of you how don't know what Night Court is, be happy! you ain't missing much! It's a funny TV show from the 80's (and early 90's) about a bunch of odd characters working in a night court (oh so that's where the name comes from! I always wondered!).

The humour is wacky and silly, the characters extreme and unrealistic (imagine Ally McBeal giving birth to a litter of Gilligan's wacky kids and making them work at a night court... but sillier)!

So that's the show, now to a review of one of the episodes. Season three episode five: Halloween Too.

This one deals with Harry T. Stone (the night court judge) as he plans a Halloween party, as he makes his preparations for the party he meets a woman and they hit it off very quickly and the episode jumps ahead four days as their relationship is doing great and they are totally happy.

So obviously something bad is gonna happen. You don't make a character fall quickly in love and skip through the beginning of a relationship unless your gonna write out the character in the end of the episode!

And what is it that happens? Well Harry's girlfriend ends up in his court room for burning a bonfire on public property and dancing robustly in Central park. Oh and it turns out she is a witch. This of course bothers Harry a lot! No, not her committing a crime! her being a witch!

Crime good. Witch bad.

So shes a witch!? So what? What does that even mean? What does her being a witch mean in the Night Court reality? Is she a practitioner of the Wiccan faith? Does she wear all black and ride a broom? Does she have magic powers? They never really say! They just call her a "witch" and the term is never explained! Hell the characters don't even care what it means! or why she is one! They just hate the fact that she is one and want her to stop being one! Cause boy oh boy do they hate the term witch!... what ever that means.

They've done nothing to show that the term "witch" means anything evil! All they've done is throw the word around like it was the most heinous disgusting word imaginable (which lets face it! its not!) And these people are suppose to be rational educated people! Why is one word making them act this way! This is taking the term witch hunt to a new level of stupidity! Why are these highly educated people (who are also lawyers who seek truth and justice) this uninterested in learning the details and facts? and so hell bent on hate and discrimination?!

Holy hell! She can summon flame! Really? What the funk! So shes a real stereotype type witch? one with magical powers and all!?... Really?!... this is retarded!... but it still doesn't explain why they think shes evil!

And more importantly! this is suppose to be a funny TV show about a court room! Not a Sci-fi/fantasy show! What the hell is a magical witch doing in their reality?! Why does a TV show about a night court in New York city during the 80's that is based in reality contain magic and unexplained forces?!

This is stupid! Did they think magic and law were a perfect fit! (Why was Harry Potter not a night court judge?) Geepers! I Can't wait for the episode where Santa's Elves sue Santa for being an unsafe employer! And one where Gollum presses charges against Bilbo for theft! (How much do you think the one ring is worth? Is it theft over a thousand?)

So of course, cause American TV is that lame, Harry dumps the woman, cause she wont give up being a witch (what ever that implies) and cause he fears losing his job. (Seriously its an actually plot point! They all fear that if someone finds out shes a witch Harry will lose his job!) So they go there separate ways! A great relationship gone down the drain cause a "open minded" judge can't look past the term witch.

And just when this episode looked like it might be the worst episode of the show, the night court gang throws a costume party and the legal aid lawyer dresses up like a witch (to be funny? to rub it in Harry's face? for irony? or just to look slutty?) and she looks smoking hot in the costume!

So here's some pictures of that!

Yes, all three pictures look similar... it's the only time you see her in costume face on! and lets face it! in that outfit she looks best face on!

Bibleman and the Fiendish Works of Dr. Fear

Hi! I'm Bersercules, the Berserk Herc! And today I'll be talking about the third tape of Bibleman! (Third of the ones I have... I don't have them all!)

Its title? The Fiendish Works of Dr. Fear!... so is Dr. Fear the guy who made this episode?

Oh and for this one Biblemans costume looks different! More slick, more sophisticated, more retarded!

The episode starts off is standard Bibleman fashion ie lame crap... as Bibleman and Coats in their secret identities working on a set up for an up coming "Clean is Cool" Campaign (which is an anti drug campaign and not an anti littering campaign) for a local community centre!

Coats (or what ever his real name is) shows Miles Peterson (AKA Bibleman) two buttons that are prototypes for the buttons that the champain will use!

Miles admires the two buttons and they then head off for the night.

Wow! I can see why Bibleman loves these! They're frickin' cool!

So after Bibleman and Coats depart two oddly familiar looking villains show up to switch the clean is cool buttons for fake versions of them that cause their wearers to feel fear... wow! so Dr. Fear is gonna use fear? That's a shock!

And although these are different villains they're actually the same guys from the last episode! And I know this cause the sidekick Ludicrous (who couldn't even bother to change his name!)

breaks the fourth wall to tell us (the audience) that they're the same people! just playing different characters! Holy Bibleman! That's weird! They can't even get new actors to be in this show!!

But I'm not gonna complain, cause at least this time the villains sack remains hidden!

But oh crap! This time Bibleman can't contain his crotch!

Cause no one asked for it! Biblebulge! (Is it some new thing they're doing with the show where at least one crotch must be bulging per show?)

We now jump ahead as the "Clean is Cool" champain holds its dance... a swing dance... Oh funk!

And yes Bibleman dances.

Bibleman can do evil too!

And one confusing thing is Coats is wearing swing fashion... so is he in his secret identity or his hero identity?

Heck it even gets more confusing as Coats gets referred to as Coats by others no matter who he hangs out with! He is called Coats as he hangs out with Bibleman and when he hangs out with Miles! But no one thinks Miles is Bibleman even though they both hang out with a black guy named Coats! Does no one realise hes the same guy? Can they not tell them apart? His face is totally exposed! Whats wrong with these people? Do all black people look the same to them!? Do they just call all black people Coats?! What the frick!

...apparently a whole bunch of different men...

So to make a lame episode short, Bibleman and a kid are both affected by Dr. Fears fear thing (through the buttons) and Bibleman tries to understand why he's afraid by investigating things... why is he not praying instead?

And interspersed through out this episode Bibleman confronts and fights Dr. Fear.

And yes they fight with their lightsabers. This isn't getting old.

And-

Yo Quiero Taco Smell!

...no I didn't make that up, that's what Dr. Fear says to Bibleman just before their second obligatory sword fight! ...I don't know why... he just says it... and speaking of obligatory sword fights lets jump ahead to their last obligatory sword battle! Which takes place in the same place as there first battle!... that's very set convenient! The set makers must have loved that!

(Why all these sword battles? Are sword fights prominent in the Bible?)

So Bibleman defeats Dr. Fear and over comes the magically imposed fear that was stopping him! (See Bibleman over came his magically imposed fear! that means you can over come your very real fears!)

And that's it for today.

Oh and Bibleman has a bike too!

(wow bikers are so cool!)

I'm back!... sorta...

Hi! I'm back!... sorta. I was suppose to work on a side project last week but I didn't get much of it finished as I got a cold and was sick all week, then yesterday I went to the dentist and had a tooth pulled. So I'm not in the mood to do much right now.

I have one new Bibleman review made and a review of another TV show I wrote a few weeks ago (before Bibleman week) to post so I might be posting them soon (maybe).

Till then I will instead answer questions.

I was tagged in a question thing by R.gers and here's me complying with that.

Say eleven random things about yourself:

1) I love to talk about myself.
2) I just had my first tooth removed.
3) I have two arms.
4) I start a lot of sentences with the word I!
5) I like to eat.
6) I can't think of anything to write.
7) I love to write and act as the Ol' Timey Movie Reviewer more then Bersercules the Berserk Herc.
8) I love to create.
9) I love to write.
10) Weeeeee!
11) I use to work at 7-11!

And here's eleven questions R.gers asked for me (and ten others) to answer!

First video game you even played?
I think it was Super Mario Bros.

Favourite game console?
I prefer computer games but I do like the original Nintendo Entertainment System.

Who do you think is the greatest character ever conceived in video games?
That dancing Russian in the Tetris video game.

Who is the greatest villain?
That dancing Russian in the Tetris video game.

Best weapon in your opinion (can be any game)?
The ICBM (InterContinentalBallisticMissile) in the game CIV 3. Why? Who hasn't wanted to drop an ICBM on there enemies!

Biggest pet peeves in games?
Glitches.

Your greatest gaming moment ever?
I got to level 19 (194 lines) in Tetris for Nintendo.

If you were a character from any game, what would you do?
I'd rule the world! (I'd be Alexander the Great from CIV 3!)

If given enough time and resources. What would be your life goal?
To make the world a better place.

Do think this it the eleventh question?
Yes no is eleven.

And inspired by Lord Phrozen I'm not passing these 11 questions on like I'm suppose to!!
Yay! If you wanna do this and answer 11 questions asked by me here they are:

What is the first TV show you ever saw?
What is your favourite TV show?
Who do you think is the greatest character ever conceived in TV is?
Who is the greatest villain? (in TV)
Best weapon in a TV show?
Biggest pet peeves in TV?
Did you realise I was riping off R.gers questions?
If you were a character from any TV show who would you be and what would you do?
What is the one question you love to answer?
If you could be one animal what animal would you eat?
Did you ever watch the movie This is Spinal Tap?
Should I ask twelve questions?

That's it for me today! I'll see you at your blogs! Oh and this is my 103rd post so my 100th post was during Bibleman week. Yay!
