batman has been around since the dawn of time! he became mainstream in 1939. and i honestly do not watch enough tv, i have seen the posters but never knew wth they were about.
My family loves Mystery Theater. We get it on netflix and watch it on the computer. You've gotta have popcorn while you watch it. It makes it even better.
My aunt used to watch this show when I was younger and always laugh hysterically. I watched a few episodes out of curiosity...I guess their sense of sarcasm/cynicism rubbed off on me!
@Hazel But it is an acurate name! They mock mystery movies and science fiction movies while watching from a theater! And the 3000 is cause they're in space! (but yeah I can see what you mean about the name not quite fitting. It makes more sense when you watch a bunch of the silly episodes! A silly name for a silly show!)
@Kid Shuffle Good to know! Although it wont help me (I have them all on DVD!) at least now I know where to tell others to find them! (Some can be found on YouTube too!)

God I watched these like crazy when I was younger, My favorite was always "the final sacrifice" My friends and I will still to this day shout out "give us your hockey hair" at strangers for odd looks then laugh uncontrolably

@Banacek No those are the lyrics. People just think the line is "shot him in to space" cause the sets look like outerspace. The line is "shot him in the face" and the show takes place as the microscopic ship flys around Joels pimples!
MST 3000 cracked me up! It's always great to see a show which is so in line with your (by "your", I mean "mine". Well, "your" could apply to "you", as well!) sense of humor! Too bad I didn't have any aliens watching TV with me, though. Just as well; those anal probes would get in the way of good viewing.
@Al Penwasser I agree! It is a joy to find the perfect show for yourself (by yourself I mean anyone!) The things watching the show with the guy are not aliens they are robots! So there are no anal probes going on in the show (well none that I've seen!)
I vaguely remember that show. Even as a kid, I still didn't care for it much. But nice review nonetheless!
